Below are the steps to setup Cloudera Quickstart on your local machine
1)check if ur laptop support visualization(check bios).
2)Install and configure Oracle Virtual Box for virtualization.
3)laptop should have at least 8GB RAM.
In Network setting make sure u have below settings.
Then download latest version of cloudera quickstart from http://www.cloudera.com/content/cloudera/en/downloads/quickstart_vms/cdh-5-3-x.html
one downloaded extract the file and open image in virtual box...
you are good to go...Kindly read more about quickstart..it had all eco system components of Hadoop ...hive pig oozie,flume etc
